Meet Julia

My first memory of photography goes back to the Christmas I got a Barbie film camera. I photographed everything — my pets, the backyard, you name it. My mom still has an entire album filled with pictures I took of our cats. Since then, photography has always been woven into my life. It’s grown from taking photos of animals, to the outdoors, to people — and eventually, to weddings. What a journey it’s been.

It’s hard to believe I’ve been photographing weddings since 2020. It’s taken a lot of work, but it’s also brought me so much joy. I’ve met incredible people, traveled to beautiful places, and even explored new corners of photography — from food and beverage projects to the world of dance. I feel endlessly grateful.

When I’m not behind the camera, you can usually find me:

• Relaxing on the beach near my home in York, Maine

• Playing with my cat, Cheesecake

• Spending time with friends and family

• Watching movies

• Enjoying my favorite food — sushi
